Narathiwat bomb death toll rises to 2


The number of deaths from roadside bombings in Narathiwat on Saturday rose to two yesterday.
Jeh-ama Ranger Asman died of his wounds on the morning after the first ranger died on Saturday.
Security officials suspect that Manu Mama, a man running away, is responsible for this attack. They have launched a hunt for Ra Ngae district.
The other victims - four rangers and five reporters - all in a safe condition, but some will need more surgery.
In Raman district of Yala, security officials acting on tip-offs from local residents arrested a 50-year-old man is believed to have caused a number of insurgents in the staging of riots in the South deep.
The suspect said he had done nothing wrong.
